Sunday's Bulletin Message 8/09/2026
We started our Sunday Services with our Sunday School Classes for all our age groups. In the Worship Service we sang some congregational hymns & our Adult Choir sang followed by some special singers who sang praises to the Lord. Afterwards, Pastor Bill Rains preached a message entitled: "Praising God With A Promise" from Nehemiah 9:22-38, #12 Part 3 of his "The Need For Nehemiahs" sermon series. YOU REALLY DON'T WANNA
GO TO HEAVEN.
In Heaven you'll have to be in the presence of a Holy God. In Heaven you'll have to be around Mighty Cherubim & Seraphim, Arch Angels & Messenger Angels, Biblical Characters & Church Men & Women. You'll have to listen to Godly Music & Angelic Choirs. In Heaven you'll always have to be around Christians & in Church Worship Services. You won't be able to live in sin & enjoy the pleasures of your flesh & and the world. You'll always have to listen to preaching! So, listen...from the life you have now live, the things you now pursueand how you spend most Sundays, it's clearly evident that you really don't wanna go to Heaven! Obviously you'd much prefer being somewhere else.
JUST A REMINDER, IT'S EXTREMELY HYPOCRITICAL-
to let on, on social media, like you're a good Christian who loves Jesus and at the same time do absolutely nothing for or even hurt a good church & Pastor (the precious bride of Christ and Lord's family) with your attitude & actions. You actually do more harm than good to the cause of Christ.
THOSE THAT SERVE IN LEADERSHIP ROLES-
must SET the example of Christianity to the world, NOT FOLLOW the example of the Non-Christian world! (Romans 12:1-2)
WHEN YOU'RE SECRETLY WANTING A WAY OUT OF CHURCH INVOLVEMENT,
because it's just too tough for you, the Devil will always provide it.
YOUR ATTITUDE AND THINGS YOU TALK ABOUT WITH PEOPLE-
can edify (build another up in the faith) or uproot them from Christianity so badly that they'll quit church altogether. Some people get more people out of church than they ever get in. All the while act like they're the "goody two shoes".
IT'S BEEN SAID-
"Our Churches must change or they're gonna die!" I whole heartily agree with that. Here are some changes I propose:
1. Let's change in the sense of becoming more biblical than we've been.
2. Let's change in the sense of getting rid of every version of the Bible but that KJV.
3. Let's change in our prayer life. Let's pray daily for souls to be saved, for people to love Jesus and want to live for him, for God's will to be done in our lives, not our own.
4. Let's change in our lives from wasting time to "redeeming the time for the days are evil".
5. Let's stop being rude and unkind to people and start being Christ-Like in how we communicate and treat people.
6. Let's start going to church more often instead of less.
7. Let's stop disrespecting God's house with "any old thing will do in dress and service" and start being our best for the Lord Jesus Christ.
8. Let's change from being cold and indifferent to evangelistic and full of scripture.
9. Let's do more hymns instead of hem hawing and more specials that are special to Jesus.
