Sunday's Bulletin Message 4/19/2026

Pastor's Picture

We started Sunday Services with our Adult Class Study of the book of Revelation. In the Worship Service we sang some congregational hymns & our Adult Choir sang a song followed by some special singers who sang praises to the Lord. Afterwards, Senior Pastor Bill Rains continued in his "The Need For Nehemiahs sermon series #9 entitled "Getting Things Organized" from Nehemiah 7:1-5, 66-73 Click on this link: AV/Media link (or below) to watch anytime at your convenience.

HOW WE RESPOND TO ANY GIVEN SITUATION-

what we say about it, what we do about it, and how we treat others for their part in, or connection to, that given situation demonstrates the level of spirituality or carnality existing in our own lives. NEVER should a Christian (let alone anyone in a spritual leadership or position of example) respond carnally because of someone's carnal attitude or actions. The local church is not a worldly organization operating with worldly methods. It is a spiritual organism/organization whose Head is Jesus Christ and whose Body functions according to His directives. We must strive to be as Christlike as possible. There is no excuse for any degree of carnality in our attitudes and actions.

NEVER TAKE WHAT SOMEONE SAYS OUT OF CONTEXT-

and twist their statement. It may momentarily get you some accolades from some but it revels an ugly destructive motive when the truth is presented. Those that, for some reason, dislike someone are most prone to lie in this matter.

You also can experience salvation! You need only to be willing to believe in your hear that Jesus died and arose from the dead for you salvation, put all your faith in Christ and confess him as your Savior. Romans 10:8-13

PRAISE GOD, THANK YOU-

the entire cost of the Gutter Work, %5,00 has been received. $2,000 has already been donated towards the $12,600 cost for our basement flooring project. We appreciate whatever you give towards the remaining $10,600.00.

I'M SO THANKFUL-

that when I stand before God, I will never have to give an account for hurting a Pastor or Church (the precious bride of Christ), or "ghosting" an individual that loved me and did everything they could for me.

WHAT ARE WE LEAVING BEHIND TO HELP THE CAUSE OF CHRIST?-

"..."But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:" (Matthew 6:20)

IT'S BEEN SAID-

"Our Churches must change or they're gonna die!" I whole heartily agree with that. Here are some changes I propose:

1. Let's change in the sense of becoming more biblical than we've been.

2. Let's change in the sense of getting rid of every version of the Bible but that KJV.

3. Let's change in our prayer life. Let's pray daily for souls to be saved, for people to love Jesus and want to live for him, for God's will to be done in our lives, not our own.

4. Let's change in our lives from wasting time to "redeeming the time for the days are evil".

5. Let's stop being rude and unkind to people and start being Christ-Like in how we communicate and treat people.

6. Let's start going to church more often instead of less.

7. Let's stop disrespecting God's house with "any old thing will do in dress and service" and start being our best for the Lord Jesus Christ.

8. Let's change from being cold and indifferent to evangelistic and full of scripture.

9. Let's do more hymns instead of hem hawing and more specials that are special to Jesus.

For convenience in supporting our church financially we offer you ONLINE GIVING @ mbccincy.org and/or clicking the GIVE link at the top of any page in this site.
